Submission Policy & Contributor Clarification for Afroglent Webzine

Thank you for your interest in submitting to Afroglent. While we welcome quality submissions, please note that applying to be featured or submitting work does not automatically guarantee publication. Each piece undergoes a review process, and if your submission is not accepted, we will contact you with a brief explanation where necessary.

We accept only original works that have not been published elsewhere—whether in print, online platforms, or personal blogs. This is to avoid conflicts with search engine authority and protect the integrity of our editorial curation. Before submitting, we strongly recommend you read our Terms and Conditions to understand your rights, our obligations, and the standards expected of all contributors.

Acceptance of your submission does not make you a Columnist, Editor, or Guest Writer at Afroglent. These are designated roles with clear terms of engagement and specific responsibilities. If you’re seeking an official, credited contributor role as a Guest Writer, Columnist, or Editor—please click here

We’re honoured by your interest and look forward to reviewing authentic, unpublished work that aligns with Afroglent’s distinctive voice and vision.
